I thought my fitness ambitions were curtailed when I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knees. I turned to yoga and have been practicing this with Josh since lockdown to improve my strength and flexibility. This led to having the confidence to start personal training with Josh and a year on, thanks to Josh’s guidance and encouragement, I am finally beginning to realise my body is capable of more than I thought and, most importantly, it has became stronger and pain free. I have now just started Couch to 5k; something I would never have thought possible and am excited to see what more I can do. – Jacinda

As a personal trainer, I offer a unique and comprehensive approach to fitness. With limited slots available, I provide both 60 and 90 minute sessions at a beautiful boutique fitness studio. My expertise goes beyond standard personal training, as I incorporate my yoga experience, mindfulness knowledge, and understanding of psychology into the sessions. With over 10 years of experience, I have trained clients in areas such as strength, flexibility, mobility, cardiovascular health, weight management, sports-specific training, injury/illness recovery, and rehabilitation. Working alongside osteopaths who refer their clients to me, I believe in developing a professional, safe, and authentic relationship with each client. Through my sessions, I aim to positively impact their confidence, psychological well-being, and overall physical health.

WHAT I OFFER

I offer both 60 and 90 minute private 1-to-1, 2-to-1, and 3+ small group personal training sessions at The Old Joinery Studio.

My 90 minute sessions usually start with 30 minutes of yoga and mindfulness, followed by 45 minutes of strength training, and then 15 minutes stretching and relaxation/cool down. I believe this is the perfect recipe for a session, that holistically targets my client’s overall well-being.

I incorporate knowledge from past rowing coaching, personal training, yoga and psychology into my sessions. I have established good working relationships with top local osteopaths and physios, who often refer clients to me because of my approach.

Prices

60 minute session: £40 for 1-to-1 sessions, £50 for 2-to-1 sessions and £60 for 3+ small group sessions.

90 minute session: £60 for 1-to-1 sessions, £70 for 2-to-1 sessions and £80 for 3+ small group sessions.
